The Double Decker Deli is owned and run by Get Amongst It Ltd, a company started by Niall McLean & Rob Gray. They are two lads who were tired of talking about doing stuff and getting nothing done. For years they came up with great ideas but didn't implement these ideas into action. So they decided to stop talking, Get Amongst It and make a start.

The Double Decker Deli was born from one of their conversations. It was discussed in great detail over two beers and went like this ...

• Niall ... I was at a concert, the food was p**h.
• Rob ... I was at another concert and the food was p**h there as well, we should do something about it.
• Niall ... I thought about using a bus for something.
• Rob ... We should turn the bus into a coffee bar.
• Niall .. And sell cracking food, like in a deli.
• Rob ... Right ... lets Get Amongst It.

That was basically it. This is the product of that conversation and we are actually quite proud of what we have put together. The lads at Get Amongst It Ltd would like to say a big thank you to the many people who have helped to get the Double Decker Deli to this stage ... muchos gracias everyone.

Meet the Chef ... Gordon the chef has joined us recently to work on private catering contracts or events that require speciality food to be cooked on site. Gordon hails from a prestigous background having worked for the last 15 years in some of Londons top restaurants.

We have had great feedback from our customers about the quality of his culinary skills. Welcome aboard Gordon.
